Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Three (3) years of industry experience preferred REQUIRED EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree desired REQUIRED CREDENTIALS Possession of a valid Emergency Vocational Education 30-day substitute permit or valid California Designated Subjects Vocational Teaching Credential. (Refer to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing website at http://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/requirements.html for further information regarding credentials) CTE Substitutes are needed for the following areas: *Agriculture and Natural Resources *Arts, Media, and Entertainment *Building Trades and Construction *Education, Child Development, and Family Services *Energy and Utilities *Engineering and Design *Fashion and Interior Design *Finance and Business *Health Science and Medical Technology *Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation *Information Technology *Manufacturing and Product Development *Marketing, Sales, and Service *Public Service *Transportation Offer of employment is contingent upon successful passing of a physical examination.

Both letters must be hand-signed by the author and must have a date on the letter that is within the last two years prior to the date your application is submitted. Letters without a hand-signature, letters that are electronically signed, and letters without a date or with a date more than 2 years old will not be accepted. One letter from a supervisor is preferred, but not required)
