Substitute Custodian

Education and Experience Requirements: Any combination equivalent to: • Completion of the twelfth (12th) grade • One (1) year of custodial experience preferred • Valid California Driver's License Applicants are required to submit the following documents with their online application in PDF format.

Our custodial/maintenance staff work 8 hour shifts starting as early as 6:30 a.m. and ending as late as 12 midnight. Please explain your availability to work within these hours. 3. What work experience and/or training do you have to be a substitute custodian?

Under general supervision, performs custodial duties related to the care, routine maintenance, and cleaning of assigned buildings, facilities, and adjacent ground areas; and performs related duties as assigned. This journey-level* class is responsible for performing the full range of custodial work required to ensure that designated County Office site is cleaned and maintained in a clean, orderly, and secure condition. Positions perform of the full range of custodial duties as assigned, working independently, and exercising judgment and initiative.
