VACANCY NOTICE

NEW FAIRFIELD BOARD OF EDUCATION

POSITION: Substitute Computer Technician

SERVING: New Fairfield Public Schools

GENERAL DUTIES: Maintain and repair computers, peripherals, and chromebooks throughout the district.

Image hard drives, and install software/driver updates and service packs. Troubleshoot the LAN. Correct and capture inventory.

Clean, organize, and repair devices and room technology setups. Provide help desk support when needed by Director of Technology.

QUALIFICATIONS: Experience troubleshooting Windows 10, Apple mobile devices, and Chromebooks.

Networking experiences a plus. Must be skilled working with people and display patience with end users. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and be comfortable working on a ladder. Must be organized and neat.

SALARY: $13.00 per hour/$14.00 as of July 1
