Pay: $120/dayTES Staffing is hiring Substitute Teacher Aides to support the Charter Schools of Rochester. This role offers the flexibility to create your own schedule, change availability week-to-week, and work in bus-friendly locations. It's an excellent opportunity for college students, retirees, or individuals aspiring to enter the education field. Prior childcare experience is valued but not required.Job Description:

Assist classroom teachers by providing instructional services to students, including working with individuals or small groups, and test proctoring.
Supervise students in various settings such as classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, and playgrounds.
Manage classroom behavior and intervene during crises using positive behavior management strategies.
Collaborate with team members to support all students effectively.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in communication with adults and students.
Monitor and document student progress.
Assist with student arrival and dismissal procedures inside or outside the building.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. with one year of paid or volunteer experience working with children, in an educational setting, or with people with disabilities. Alternatively, a minimum of 30 college credit hours.
Must pass a background screening with the N.Y.S. Education Department.
Physically capable of performing all required duties.
