Substitute Bus Driver

QUALIFICATIONS: • Possession of a valid Class B, Motor Vehicle Operator's License and a School Bus Driver's Certificate, with medical certificate, issued by the California Highway Patrol, including passage of a first aid examination. • Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, and one year of experience in the transportation of school children. • Knowledge of safe driving practices and techniques, safety and maintenance requirements of bus and other pupil transportation equipment. • Knowledge of the provisions of the Education Code, California Motor Vehicle Code and operation of vehicles in the transportation of school children. • Basic cleaning methods, materials, procedures, and techniques. • Safe working methods and procedures. • Ability to climb ladders, kneel, bend, stoop, squat, crawl, and stand for long periods of time.
