The North Reading Public Schools is seeking interested applicants to serve as a building based substitutes at the elementary, middle, or high school level. The successful candidate will report to the assigned school two to four (2-4) days per week to support student learning.

Responsibilities

  • Support students and staff during the school day;

  • Guide student learning through provided lesson plans and/or classroom support;

  • Other needs as requested by the Building Principal

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required

  • Bachelor's degree or two years of college education is preferred

  • Licensure with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) preferred

  • Work with youth, teaching, and/or in an education setting preferred

  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
