QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualifications: NJDOE School Athletic Trainer certificate (#2930) required First Aid, CPR, and AED certified Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics Ability to provide injury prevention, education, physical conditioning, emergency care, and reconditioning therapies for athletes
REPORTS TO: The athletic director, who provides overall objectives and final evaluation in
conjunction with the high school principals
SUPERVISES: In several instances, the atheltes for injuries and
JOB GOAL: To maintain the physical well being of interscholastic athletes through the development and implementation of a comprehensive athletic health care program that focuses on injury prevention, evaluation, care, and rehabilitation of injured athletes Must be available nights and weekends
