Shermco Industries, Inc.is seeking a Power System Studies Engineer

POWER SYSTEMS STUDIES ENGINEER

Join our team of leaders in electrical power system maintenance, repair, testing and engineering. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our team in Minooka, IL

Responsibilities

• Perform power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and transient stability studies

• Develop and maintain power system models

• Analyze data and provide technical support to clients

• Prepare technical reports and presentations

• Collaborate with other engineers and project managers

• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in power systems studies

• Strong knowledge of power system analysis software, such as ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to travel as needed
