PathPoint is seeking a part-time Substance Use Outreach Specialist to provide services to individuals in various stages of recovery from substance use disorders living in the Santa Barbara area. This unique position is the result of an exciting new partnership with the Public Health Department in an effort to integrate behavioral health and health care services.

As a Substance Use Outreach Specialist, you will provide substance abuse screenings, brief interventions, referrals for treatment services, and case management to people in various stages of substance use recovery. Some of your clients will be individuals who are homeless, so some time will be spent working in the field. We are looking for someone with a collaborative spirit who is enthusiastic about working with other partners and health care providers to increase coordinated care. This is a part-time position for up to 13 hours per week and requires certification in alcohol and drug treatment (CADC-I or CADC-II).

Position Requirements:

  • Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC-I or CADC-II) is required

  • Must be eligible to bill Medi-Cal

  • Strong computer skills and experience working with electronic medical records

  • Must pass pre-employment Live Scan DOJ fingerprint background check, TB screening and health screening

  • Must have a valid driver's license with at least 5 years driving history, a satisfactory driving record, and use of a vehicle with current registration and insurance

Compensation and Benefits: $18 per hour. Benefits include paid sick time, 403(b) retirement savings plan with employer match, free Employee Assistance Program, wellness program with cash rewards, and housing assistance.

In addition to building marketing assets this role will also be will implement email segmentation, technology implementations, and email delivery and acquisition efforts. Primary Areas of Responsibility * Build marketing assets in our Marketing Automation System, Marketo * Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems including integrations between systems * Manage various email campaigns and nurture flows, including implementing designs, content and testing * Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email sends * Perform email A/B testing in an effort to continually improve email performance * Manage email marketing and sync calendars * Oversee List building and account creation to drive demand * Work with Marketing Program Managers to help define requirements and manage the ongoing evolution of the Lead/Campaign management, Marketing Automation and other software needed for direct marketing and marketing analytics * Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management * Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact * Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database * Assist with evaluating new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance * With a passion for innovation, keep on top of current marketing best practices and implement them to improve campaign performance * Flexibility to quickly adapt and change to align with business needs Qualifications and Requirements * BA/BS or equivalent working experience * 2-5 years of marketing or directly related experience * Proficiency in marketing automation systems and integrating those systems with other technologies.
