Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor in the Adult Clinical Community Services (ACCS) program at Behavioral Health Network!

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the ACCS program with the following:

  • Embracing the values of recovery, resiliency, and harm reduction to support individuals towards recovery from drug or alcohol use.

  • Helping participants maintain sobriety and transition onto more independent living situations.

  • Meeting individuals served in their environment and connecting them to community resources.

  • Providing preliminary screenings, recommendations about critical services needed, and necessary interventions and referrals for program participants.

  • Acting as a role model for individuals served.

  • Providing psycho-education and individual counseling on substance use.

  • Acquiring harm reduction capabilities and other treatment trends that help individuals served progress toward recovery.

  • Offering training and support to staff on best practices to coach individuals working towards sobriety.

Adult Clinical Community Services is a program that serves adults with mental health concerns. ACCS is a multifaceted program which uses an integrated team model to perpetuate recovery and wellness for the individuals served.

What are we looking for in a Substance Use Disorder Counselor?

  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. in related field, plus one year experience; or doctoral, ABD with one half-year's experience (required).

  • At least one year of experience in human services (required).

  • At least one year of experience working in substance treatment environment (required).

  • Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor (LADC I) licensure (required).

  • Clinical license or eligibility for licensure within 6 months (required).

  • Commitment to empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration for individuals served (required).

  • Familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems (required).

  • Willingness to learn and become proficient with software applications, including Electronic Health Record, as applicable (required).

  • Working knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse regulations (required).

  • Reliable vehicle, valid Driver's License, good driving record, and appropriate car insurance coverage (required).

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Master's-Level Clinician in Outpatient Services at Behavioral Health Network! Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support Outpatient Services with the following: Outpatient Clinicians provide direct services to BHN clients across the lifespan via outcome-driven, evidence-based psychotherapy and social-emotional skills training and support. Services are delivered in a variety of settings and modalities, including clinics, homes, schools, outreach community locations, or via telehealth platforms. Clinical services include comprehensive assessments, individual, couple, family, and group therapy, and coordination with other service providers as indicated. Outpatient Clinicians maintain their caseload, participate in clinical team meetings and supervision, formulate collaborative treatment plans, measure progress toward set outcomes, and coordinate treatment with a multidisciplinary team. Outpatient Clinicians may hold Full-Time salaried positions, with Fee-for-Service hourly positions also available. Outpatient Clinicians receive excellent, consistent supervision toward independent licensure and opportunities for career development. This position is looking for a Child/Youth Specialist in addition to needing Outpatient experience.
