Work Location: Psychiatry, Substance Abuse Center

Under general supervision, provides counseling, drug education and case management for substance abuse clients in accordance with government and department standards. Responds to the unique needs of adolescent patients as the need arises.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or other Behavioral Health field.
Preferred: Two years of clinical experience is highly desired.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Required: Must be able to obtain an Addiction Counselor Certification within thirty (30) months of eligibility with DMH.
