We're a leading marketer and developer of health and fitness products with some of the most recognized brands in the industry, including Nautilus, Bowflex and Schwinn Fitness. We are currently recruiting for a Subscription Operations Manager to join our JRNY team in Vancouver, WA.

As the Subscription Operations Manager you are responsible for helping to drive the digital business to reach its long-term growth goals through insightful analysis and active management of the full cycle of subscription metrics including attachment to connected fitness equipment, trials, conversion, and churn reduction. We're looking for someone that will not only identify what changes are to be made but will work with key stakeholders in the business to make impactful improvements. Additionally, this role is responsible for the operational design and implementation of new subscription plans. This newly created position is perfect for a self-starter who is highly motivated to drive rapid growth in the business while working as part of a fast-paced collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

  • In depth analysis of key subscription trends including attachment, conversion, and churn

  • Drive metric improvement initiatives with the goal to move the business toward the long-term strategic metrics

  • Develop and implement churn intervention strategies

  • Develop and implement dunning strategies that reduce involuntary churn to near 0%

  • Propose competitive subscription plans and pricing that drive increases in worldwide monthly recurring revenue

  • Mange the subscription management platform including implementing subscription plans, pricing, offering tiers, etc.

  • Collaborate with the ecommerce team, B2B channel, international sales etc. to ensure that subscription offerings are widely distributed and drive the highest possible attachment rate to compatible fitness equipment

  • Coordinate with marketing, consumer insights, and customer care to collect actionable consumer survey data that can be used to improve the product offering

  • Partner with IT and agile business squads to ensure that subscriptions are supported across the enterprise

  • Assist in the implementation of win-back campaigns for previously churned subscribers

  • Develop and maintain subscriber account communication flows for all critical account activities

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Category Manager to ensure new product enhancements will positively drive key subscription metrics

  • Work closely with the Content Manager to ensure the most compelling content is available to subscribers in order to drive lower churn rates

  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure strategic potential and effectiveness of new initiatives are in place to improve the business

  • As an active member of the JRNY (digital fitness platform) team, propose strategies for the business to increase the growth and profitability rates

  • Stay up-to-date with current trends in the market and drive new opportunities that differentiate Nautilus's brands

Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.

  • Prior experience working with digitally native consumer-facing brands a plus

  • Experience with subscription management platforms a plus

  • Experience in a subscription-based business a plus

  • Understanding of web analytics and reporting

  • Strong analytic and decision-making skills

  • Great collaboration and communication skills

  • Self-motivated, detail oriented and deadline driven

  • Passion for fitness and consumer experience

  • Comfortable working in an evolving environment
