QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma
2+ years of experience with submittal coordination, document control, or a similar role in the construction industry
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and other documents
General plumbing knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
WHAT DOES A SUBMITTAL COORDINATOR DO?
You normally work from Monday
Friday, 8:00 am
5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch.
You're crucial to our success and client satisfaction as you oversee our project submittal process and ensure we receive all the necessary information to do an amazing job. Meeting all deadlines, you gather information from websites, speak with vendors, and collect documents such as blueprints, spec sheets, and take-offs. When you have all the necessary information, you will create a detailed submittal package. You will then follow up with contractors to track the package's approval status, revising submittals as needed and making adjustments for items with long lead times.
