As a Submarine Mechanical Engineer I you will:
Work within the Engineering Services Division teams and provide on-site support for the United States Navy

A week in the life of a Submarine Mechanical Engineer I:
Conduct engineering analysis of mechanical structures
Work in conjunction with other engineers and designers to develop software models
Use those models to predict performance under varied conditions
Assist with material selection based on tested calculations
Conduct weight and moment calculations
Conduct evaluations under varied operational conditions
Work on Temporary Alterations, Operational Alterations and Ship Alterations based on studies
Work under senior level engineer to learn
