Lockheed Martin's Joint Combat Weapons Systems (JCWS) Strike Weapons Global Supply Chain team is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented problem-solver to add to its Program Execution team. As a Subcontract Manager (SCM), it will be your responsibility to facilitate the procurement cycle from beginning to end. Strike Weapons is a fast-paced development program with ample opportunities for growth and new experiences. Our team operates in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and strives to make all the pieces of the puzzle fit together to deliver quality products on time to our customers. The selected candidate will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, communicating customer concerns, expediting delivery schedules, and tracking engineering revisions and material needs. As an SCM, you will have authority to purchase material on LM's behalf, with occasional expectation to place orders within short lead time. During procurement, you will be the primary LM representative-issuing solicitations, negotiating contract requirements, and managing supplier performance. You will regularly report supply chain metrics, risks, and strategic opportunities to senior-level internal customers. Working knowledge of the FAR/DFAR requirements
Ability to lead projects & teams to execute Supply Chain subcontracts and sourcing activities in an executing capacity as a Subcontract Manager
Previous experience implementing change to improve processes
Ability to make strategic decisions while delivering results
Previous experience preparing and delivering presentations
Ability to obtain a US Security clearance
Knowledge of ITAR Regulation
Ability to multi-task
Ability to travel
Working knowledge of SAP and/or Procure to Pay (P2P)
Working knowledge of Procurement processes including Lockheed Martin Material Acquisition Procedures
Experience establishing and maintaining Teaming Agreements
Previous experience with MLA/TAA/DSP5
Previous Development Program Experience
