Overview
SRI International has an immediate need for a Subcontract Administrator to join our dynamic team of contract professionals.
As part of SRI's Contracts team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your experience in Government subcontract management/administration to support SRI's team of engineers and scientists as they develop unique solutions that make the world safer, healthier, and more productive.
This is a HYBRID position, candidates must be within driving distance to Menlo Park, CA or Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities
Supports grants, contracts, OTAs (collectively "contracts") that have a moderate-low level of complexity.
Works with projects/programs, sales and service teams as well as the legal department to structure contracts.
Analyzes contracts and solicitations to ensure compliance with company policy, government requirements and specification and other requirements.
Responds to inquiries regarding contract obligations.
Maintains current knowledge of government contract practices, statues and regulations.
Initiates, manages, negotiates and administers subcontracts to authorize work in accordance with contractual specifications and SRI internal policies and procedures.
Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions with supervisor or teammate support.
Drafts and reviews various agreements such as nondisclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
Evaluates subcontractor pricing/cost utilizing various FAR approved techniques to determine fair and reasonable pricing.
Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a 2 -4 years of related contracts experience.
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a Top Secret government security clearance is required.
Strong oral, written, organizational problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Detail oriented.
Must be able to meet deadlines.
Ability to work as part of a team and build collaborative relationships.
Must be able to understand work problems and procedures and ensure accuracy of subcontract agreements, proposals and problem resolution.
Must be able to adhere to project schedules and meet deadlines.
The salary range is: $75,940.00-$90,558.00. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
