Lockheed Martin's Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 EOTS Global Supply Chain team is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented problem-solver to add to its Program Execution team. As a Subcontract Manager (SCM), it will be your responsibility to facilitate the procurement cycle from beginning to end. JSF EOTS is a fast-paced production program with ample opportunities for growth and new experiences.
Our team operates in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and strives to make all the pieces of the puzzle fit together to deliver quality products on time to our customers. The selected candidate will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers.
This effort includes working with established Supplier Management Teams (SMTs) to ensure all applicable program efforts are placed and managed to support program cost, schedule and performance requirements.
The program is an early production program in support of a DoD prime contract. Effects of decisions are long lasting and heavily influence future course of organization.
Working with program management team to generate and manage subcontract efforts for all major components procured from assigned suppliers on program.
Working with the program Affordability team to generate, manage and implement Affordability initiatives across the assigned supply base.
Performs price analysis, use of cost evaluations for development of pre-negotiation strategies, as required.
Leads negotiations and completion of subcontract / Purchase Order (PO) documentation, invoice reconciliation and payment, as required.
Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts, as required.
Interfaces with government and Lockheed Martin customers, technical personnel and other functional organizations both within Lockheed Martin and within assigned suppliers organizations.
Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority, as required.
Leads team to develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of innovation and follow through.
Works with program management and other areas of the business for timely conclusion of subcontract matters and resolution of issues.
This position will require travel.
