Description: Supports the F-35 Mission Systems Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization. Candidate will join a procurement team responsible for management of subcontracts supporting all F-35 lines of business on TR3 ICP, PCD EU and AMS. Responsibilities include; completion of development and follow-on development, procurement of production, spares, repairs, and non-material requirements, sustainment standup and DMS. Tasks include negotiate and award subcontract elements (price, terms, scope, schedule), develop subcontract specifications, work statements, prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, selects or recommends subcontractors, participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college

Experience in subcontract management, procurement, and/or buying experience


Microsoft Office Excel & PowerPoint experience
Desired Skills:

Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)/ Understanding of Government Procurement processes and regulations

Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP)

Business acumen, with experience making business based decisions

Experience analyzing problems and recommending solutions

Change management experience

Experience interacting with all levels of management

Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Procurement of build to print detail parts and assemblies from engineering drawings in support of various aircraft programs. Sources and purchases machinery, equipment, tooling, raw material, packaging material, parts, services and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop new concepts, techniques and standards in subcontract policies and procedures. Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.
