Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Keep records of work done on all residents.

• Submit needed work orders for malfunctioning equipment to Engineering.

• Participate in fire safety program and emergency preparedness program.

• Understand and cooperate with the quality assurance program.

• Performs necessary procedures that provide full hair care service's to all residents as scheduled by Director, Recreation. Procedures include: washing , haircuts, setting, styling, coloring, permanents, etc.

• Complete/Sign off invoices to turn in to Finance Department on a daily basis.

• Completes weekly appointment list to Director, Recriation for approval.

• Transport residents to and from appointment.

• Maintains adequate supplies in shop. Requisition supplies as needed through Director, Recreation.

• Observes infection control standards and keeps beauty shop neat and clean during the working day.

• Complies with guidelines of the HAZCOM program.

• In the cooperation and in response to resident needs, it may be necessary to perform other related/unrelated duties as requested, in case of emergency.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $21.00 per hour

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Current NY State Cosmetology license
