We're seeking a Studio Marketing Manager to act as the voice of the consumer, driving development of product features and Live Services offerings. The scope includes working with internal business stakeholders and global marketing teams to elevate and strengthen our brands and product offerings in an ever-changing market.
The ideal candidate is a team player who can adapt to dynamic environments, think strategically and communicate their vision to internal stakeholders. They understand where the market is headed and the needs of our customers to ensure our focus provides the greatest impact. This role reports to the Head of Studio Marketing and is expected to take a leadership role within Self Aware Games.
Craft the brand strategy, product positioning, and target audience for Self Aware Games' products.
Work closely with the game development team to help ensure that we are making the right products for the right audience and staying ahead of the competition.
Collaborate with product managers and producers to maximize the effectiveness of live-ops events driving engagement and awareness with existing players while generating organic growth to bring in new players.
Create and kick-off marketing plans with the greater Big Fish Cross Functional Marketing team and lead the execution of all marketing programs.
Design brand and style guidelines for key products to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand.
Synthesize product initiatives and insights into strategy materials for Big Fish leadership.
Become a go-to marketing expert in the social casino space.
Lead a small team of talented Product Marketers, develop their talents, and shape their career paths.
Passion for mobile gamesprior experience in gaming is required.
Minimum 6+ years of directly relevant experience including experience launching at least two mobile games.
Track record of creating innovative and effective marketing campaigns and brand strategies.
Strong business acumen, team-oriented/collaborative, and an ability to leverage data to justify programs/ideas.
Experience in SaaS environments, working closely with LiveOps teams.
Self-starter; ability to take charge and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills at all levels and ability to work collaboratively across a complex matrix and build cross-functional relationships.
Knowledge of the slots/casino gaming space is a plus, but not required.
