Your Role Within our Kingdom
You will be leading the studios art department as well as being a key contributor to studio leadership and global art strategy, so this is a big and challenging role. You'll need to have proven Art Director and leadership experience. You will work to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of our Art processes as well as working actively in our game projects in support of our future success. Key Responsibilities
Provide key leadership, coaching and hands on support to Art Directors and/or Art Leads across all teams in the studio
Ensure cross studio partnerships and collaborations are working in a productive and healthy working environment
Work in partnership with Studio Leadership (HoS's, EP's, Studio Directors and Producers), to ensure games teams are working in the best way possible
Provide constant and consistent functional leadership and support to all artists as required, especially in regards to goal setting and career development
Lead the training of artists in the studio, promoting the healthy, ongoing development of artistic skill and creative process
As part of Studio Leadership, be a key driver of Studio Strategy, including team structure, studio objectives, working practices and priorities
Oversee artist capacity and skill requirements within the studio, ensuring the right people are in place at the right time. Working with central services when required, supporting all effective engagements
Ensure Art outsourcing is integrated into game production where it is best to do so, ensuring that Art teams run as efficiently as possible.
Manage the hiring of all artists into the studio as required
Be a key contributor to Global Art Strategies, ensuring these strategies are clearly communicated to teams and stakeholders
Work with VP, Art to ensure key art strategies and processes are successfully transitioned and maintained within the studio
Facilitate good working partnerships between studio art and key partners such as Brand, Marketing and Insights

In this role, you are the go-to expert in your discipline. You will partner with the Head of Studio and Studio Leadership on all matters relating to game art to ensure our games deliver on the high quality bars we set.
You will also be a key contributor to our Global Art Strategies as a member of its Leadership Team, aligning and executing on strategic business objectives. * to ensure cross studio collaboration both for Art and resource requirements. * to lead, support and develop this already highly experienced and successful team.
We'd also love it if you are able to demonstrate:
Artistic vision and great technical skills with an eye for detail
Relevant 2D & 3D art and animation experience
Skilled use of Maya, the Adobe CS package and other relevant software
Championing the use of good technical practices
Understanding of our customers' preferences and the ability to produce appealing art in appropriate style and available time frame
An innovative spirit and contribute beyond the assigned tasks, actively seeking responsibility
Highly skilled in communication and organization with the ability to perform both tactically and strategically, preferably experienced in working within an agile project environment
Experience in working with Brands and how they relate to game products
