Student Worker - Peer To Peer Marketing - Dining Ambassador

Job Description

Are you an outgoing and enthusiastic student looking to make a positive impact on campus? Join our team at the University of South Florida (USF) as a Peer to Peer/ Dining Ambassador! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to engage with families, parents, and incoming students, promoting the benefits of enrolling in a meal plan and showcasing the diverse dining options available on campus.

Start date will be Summer 2024.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our sales team to organize and host events during orientation, creating opportunities to connect with prospective meal plan members.

• Assist in tabling events across campus to educate students and families about meal plan options, providing information on the meal plan structure, monetary value, and dining benefits.

• Develop a thorough understanding of meal plan offerings and dining services to effectively communicate their value

• and address questions from potential customers.

• Distribute marketing materials and promotional items to increase awareness of dining services, aligning with marketing strategies set for the academic year.

• Interact with guests in a friendly and informative manner, offering personalized recommendations and addressing their dining needs and preferences.

• Assist with various marketing events during key times in the Summer semester to contribute to the success of marketing initiatives and enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or marketing preferred.

• Familiarity with social media marketing trends is a plus.

• Availability during the Summer semester is preferred.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
