Reports to: Fran Dalis, Director of Psychological Services Center
Description of Job: Working closely with the PSC director and Director of Assessment, the assistants play a supporting role in the management and mentorship of GSTs at the PSC.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee Psychological Services Center's client data research program.
Mentor second-year practicum students on psychotherapy and assessment cases.
Meets with students prior to testing supervision.
Does all screenings for testing and therapy cases and, under the supervision of PSC leadership, the assigns the case to graduate student therapist;
Perform reviews of practicum students' patient charts;
Attends weekly PSC meeting.
Requirements:
Student must be enrolled in the LIU Post PSY D program.
Faculty recommendation required.
Work Schedule: Up to 17 hours per week, September through the end of June, additional hours may continue through July.
