• The Web Content Assistant position provides an opportunity to acquire relevant skills in web content building, editing and publishing using a Content Management System while supporting ASU's web and marketing goals.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Standard operating hours for this position are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Technicians are required to fit their schedule within standard operating hours, but may occasionally be asked to work events beyond these standard hours.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student, registered for classes, and in good academic standing.

• Must maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher.

• Basic understanding of computer hardware and basic troubleshooting ability;

• Ability to work individually and also with team members;

• Must effectively communicate one on one with end users;

• Ability to efficiently manage your time in a fast-paced work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the following is preferred but not required:

• Assess user needs and provide appropriate support

• Managing and prioritizing requests using ASU Work Request software

• Must have knowledge of HTML, XHTML. Knowledge of CSS and JavaScript desired but not required

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands Salary Starting at $13 an hour
