Job Description :

As a Valet Attendant at The Manchester Hotel, you will be an

integral part of the guest services team, responsible for

creating a positive first impression and ensuring a seamless

outstanding experience for our guests. This role involves

providing excellent customer service and safely and efficiently

managing valet parking services.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Arrival and Departure

Greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.

Assist with the check-in and check-out process, providing

information about the hotel's amenities.

Luggage Assistance:

Safely handle guests' luggage, transporting it to and from rooms

promptly.

Offer assistance with carrying luggage and provide information

about room features.

Valet Parking:

Collaborate with the valet parking team to ensure a smooth and

efficient parking and retrieval process for guests' vehicles.

Safely drive and park vehicles, adhering to company and safety

standards.

Guest Services:

Provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and

local attractions.

Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and

professionally.

Communication:

Maintain clear and effective communication with the front desk,

concierge, and other departments to ensure coordinated guest

services.

Relay important information about guest preferences and special

requests.

Safety and Security:

Monitor the entrance area for any suspicious activity and report

concerns promptly.

Adhere to safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being

of guests and their belongings.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

REQUIRED Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities :

Position Requirements:

Minimum 18 years of age.

Customer service experience.

Ability to drive manual transmission.

Ability to wear uniform completely and properly and be neatly

groomed.

Valid driver's license.

Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR)

check.

Capability to run, retrieve vehicles, and lift luggage up to 50

pounds.

Preferred, but not required: ability to drive a standard

(stick-shift) vehicle.

Ability to use personal cell phone for work purposes.

Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing

exceptional service.

Physical ability to lift and transport luggage, stand for

extended periods, and work outdoors.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and

holidays.
