The student helper will work with ITF staff to rear and maintain Black Soldier Fly colonies including both wild type and genetically manipulated lines.
Duties will include cleaning of rearing equipment and cages, collection of life stages, screening for visual markers, data collection and record keeping, supply inventory and ordering.

Stamp Student Union-Center for Campus Life, the Program Coordinator for Immigrant and Undocumented Student Life leads the outreach to and services for immigrant and undocumented students, including working to support student success, retention, and completion of degrees and their development as engaged leaders. Essential Duties * Partner with students and the unique experiences they bring to foster a sense of belonging. * Develop and implement interventions designed to enhance community and leadership development among undocumented and immigrant students. * Engage alumni and assist the development team efforts to secure grants and sponsorships. * Provide developmental advising for student organizations. * Advocate for immigrant and undocumented students with colleagues and departments across campus and be a representative of the program at the campus, state, and/or national level. * Collaborate with colleagues and partners to support the retention and graduation of students. * Coordinate coalitions across units serving immigrant and undocumented students within Stamp and across the university. * Attend to common intersectional experiences of immigrant and undocumented students, such as identifying as first-generation, a racial/ethnic minority, and/or as transfer students. * Conduct research on issues impacting the immigrant and undocumented student experience. * Assess programs and interventions designed to support the success of immigrant and undocumented students. * Act as a resource referral for students to connect with resources, legal and otherwise, as necessary. This position builds community with students and strives to educate and build awareness impacting campus policy decisions, program development, and resource allocation affecting immigrant and undocumented students.
