Essential Duties

  • Engage with prospective students and their families via email, phone, and in-person to provide information about the honors college and the admissions process.

  • Maintain accurate records of student applications and communication using the college and university's databases and software.

  • Create regular reports of application activity to share with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with other departments, primarily recruiting and advising, to ensure a smooth admissions process for prospective students.

  • Manage the prepping of honors applications, including transcripts, essays, recommendation letters, and other supporting materials to be distributed to admissions committees.

  • Serve on the admissions committee, evaluating submitted applications for each honors college enrollment option.

  • Contribute to application enhancements and process improvements through testing the online application system.

  • Participate in special projects with staff as directed.

Monday

  • Friday, 8 am-5 pm (some flexibility). Two remote days per week available.

Salary Range

$42,016 - $44,000 per year; DOE
