Student Support Coordinator

Pay $15.75 - $20.00/hour

The Student Support Coordinator is an operations specialist position. In this position, the Student Support Coordinator will provide quality indicator data on key aspects of the Tradewinds Education Program.

The position requires problem solving skills for key areas of operations management including Maintenance Monitoring, HR Communication, Sunshine Committee, and Tech support for special projects. This position requires an ability to create videos for presentations to reflect building-wide initiatives. This is a 12-month school calendar positon that requires 5 additional days to be worked with the Ed Directors/Sr. BCBA's over breaks to be scheduled and approved by the Superintendent of Schools.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor student attendance daily.

• Monitor classroom meeting form submissions.

• Provide weekly summaries for completion of classroom meetings for review.

• Document and record trainings and professional development opportunities.

• Provide a weekly summary of hours worked by school staff in our residential programs.

• Organize, implement and document fire drills.

• Supervise building maintenance requests for completion and complete safety checks weekly.

• Keep up to date files for staff, send out evaluation reminders throughout the school calendar to staff and their respective supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field

• Twelve (12) month paid or unpaid experience in a program or setting supporting persons with disabilities.

• Must have a valid NYS Driver's License.
