BASIS Phoenix North is seeking qualified candidates for a Student Support and Curriculum Specialist for the 2024/2025 school year!

The Student Support and Curriculum Specialist helps lead the efforts to build and maintain a strong, positive achievement-oriented school culture. Working closely with the Director of Primary Programs, the Student Support and Curriculum Specialist will support in the management of academic systems and behavior programs. This position is a visible presence in all areas of the school and is responsible for all issues relating to the well-being of students during their time at school; this position also works behind the scenes to facilitate academic systems related to student schedules, curriculum instruction, and assessment administration.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Support teachers to build positive relationships with and to resolve differences in communication with parents and students.

  • Organizes and executes student academic and behavior support.

  • Maintain student documentation regarding discipline and academic interventions.

  • Communicates and meets with parents regarding student performance and/or conduct.

  • Creating and maintaining student schedules.

  • Coordinating administration of BASIS Ed curriculum and assessments.

  • Coordinating planning and execution of standardized assessments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a school setting.

  • Behavior management training or relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Relationship building skills.

  • Exemplary organizational skills: ability to establish and manage multiple priorities.

  • Outstanding attention to detail.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
