Job Summary
The PATH (Pediatric Advancement Toward Health) Research Team's mission is to promote health and wellness in children facing medical conditions and their families. Our team focuses on emotional health within medicine; we partner with Kentucky Children's Hospital and UK Health Care outpatient pediatric clinics in the research that we conduct.
We are an active research team with multiple projects running simultaneously. An example of a current project includes surveying and interviewing children with cancer and their families about temperament, social determinants of health, and medical traumatic stress. Job responsibilities will include recruitment of research participants, reviewing medical records and extracting data, preparation of research materials, conducting phone assessments with research participants, data management, literature reviews, and IRB preparation and management.
Completion of some college courses is required. Past research experience is preferred. Skills of successful applicants include strong organization, ability to work on teams and independently, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Great experience for psychology, pre-med, and social work students. Position will be primary in-person work.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Working knowledge of Excel, SPSS, and/or Redcap preferred. Experience with data abstraction / data entry / research recruitment preferred.

Completion of courses in psychology, research methods, statistics preferred
