Student Involvement at Auburn University is excited to begin the search for a Student Organizations Administrator! This position is responsible for overseeing the status of Registered/Sponsored Student Organizations while advising the Organizations Board, administering oversight of the AUinvolve engagement platform and approval of events within it, coordinating funding requests and other needs from Registered/Sponsored Student Organizations students and advisors, and supervising the Student Involvement front desk and its student workers. They are responsible for supporting more than 450 student organizations, supporting them with university policies, procedures, and risk management. Overall, they serve as a member of the Student Involvement team of staff that provide programs and services for students outside the classroom.

Essential Functions
Coordinates and oversees the recognition status of all Registered/Sponsored Student Organizations, guiding students and organization advisors through policies and procedures, storing and maintaining required documents and digital directories, and supporting organizations with their ongoing needs and inquiries.
Provides guidance and advice to the Student Organizations Board which facilitates the student-run aspects of organization registration, status, and funding for more than 450 registered student organizations on a weekly basis.
Assists with overseeing the AUinvolve digital engagement platform and serves as the university's primary contact to third-party provider Anthology, ensuring student organization registrations, events, documents, rosters, and other features are following appropriate policies and procedures and being approved in the system accordingly.
Oversees the collection and process of student organization funding requests approved by the Student Organizations Board, guiding students and advisors through student organization funding policies and procedures.
Responsible for the oversight of the Student Involvement front desk student workers and front desk operations, while also supervising a Graduate Assistant when available.
This position requires an applicant who is willing to work occasional late hours for student meetings, including occasional weekends for retreats.

Level I - Bachelor's degree
Level II - Bachelor's degree 2 years experience in student affairs administration, student programming, orientation, or a related field.
Level III - Bachelor's degree in discipline appropriate to position plus 4 years experience in student affairs administration, student programming, orientation, or a related field
Substitutions allowed for Experience:
Graduate degrees accepted in lieu of experience for advanced levels, at a rate of one year relevant education per year of required experience.
