Position Responsibilities

Join Mount Sinai Medical Center as a Student Nurse Tech! This is a great opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting, while focusing on your main priority, nursing school!

• Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, responsible for providing basic patient care such as bathing, feeding, taking vital signs, and monitoring patients' behavioral and physical condition.

• Ensures patient personal and oral hygiene needs aer met daily and/or as necessary. Provides catheters care daily and/or as needed. Reports any pertinent observations to RN.

• Completes assigned nursing orders as directed by preceptor/Registered Nurse, including assisting patient with activities of daily living.

• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited school of nursing and have completed fundamentals of nursing courses.
• BLS certification required.

Schedule

• Minimum of 2, 12 hour shifts per month (Day Shift: 7:00 am

• 7:00 pm/ Night Shift: 7:00 pm

• 7:00 am)
