Richmond Elementary School is in search of a dynamic, adaptable, and inclusive Student Life Coordinator to join our dedicated team of educators.

Job Summary:

The Student Life Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting students' social and emotional well-being. This entails overseeing the student support center, devising support plans, providing direct induction in social and emotional practices, and facilitating support teams and committees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee the daily operations of the Student Support Center.

  • Facilitate the Behavioral Support Team.

  • Provide support during major behavioral incidents.

  • Address major/minor incidents with students as part of the schoolwide support team.

  • Handle bus referrals and develop support plans when necessary.

  • Participate in Crisis Prevention Team meetings.

  • Develop and implement student support plans, including plan design, data collection, and staff communication.

  • Manage CIRS, SWIS, and other data collection systems.

  • Coordinate and case manage academic and behavioral 504 plans.

  • Deliver Social Cognition instruction to student groups.

  • Attend IEP and other student meetings as requested.

  • Assist in coordinating state testing.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Seek and embrace constructive feedback, viewing continuous growth as essential for professional fulfillment.

  • Utilize data and evidence to self-evaluate current practices and tailor experiences to meet student needs effectively.

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Professional license (BCBA, Special Education, or Elementary Education).

  • Preferred: 3 or more years of experience.
