TITLE: Student Involvement Resource Center (SIRC) Staff
FLSA STATUS: Student Employee, up to 10 hours per week during academic year
DEPARTMENT: Student Life
REPORTS TO: Assistant Director of Student Life
OPEN TO: Undergraduate Students
PRIMARY PURPOSE/POSITION SUMMARY:
Serve as resource in the Student Involvement Resource Center (SIRC) and Underground space; manage resources, support programming, create marketing materials, provide information and support for student leaders, monitor Underground space, and assist the professional staff. Staff members will also work to promote the mission and goals of the Office of Student Involvement.

JOB COMPONENTS/PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Duties
Serve as a front facing presence in the SIRC and Underground
Assist Office of Student Involvement professional staff with department sponsored programs
Maintain the publicity and promotional postings around campus
Inventory of resources held within the SIRC and its storage facilities
Maintain a healthy and safe work environment by up keeping the cleanliness and functionality of the SIRC and Underground
Late night and weekend work may be required
Perform other duties as requested, delegated or assigned
Student Involvement Resource Center (SIRC)
Create publicity and promotional materials for office sponsored events including banners, flyers, social media posts, and other formats
Track the use of the SIRC and use of resources by the Dominican community
Maintain and update bulletin boards
Resource for student organizations, campus partners and guests
Underground Duties:
Track the use of the Underground by the Dominican community
Check in/out equipment for the Underground and report damages to supervisor
Control lighting and sound within the Underground
Maintain and update the Underground bulletin boards
Support one or more of the following cluster areas:
Programming
Promote and assist in the execution of campus events as directed
Plan additional programs as determined by interest or need
Social Media Marketing
Maintain, post, and update Student Involvement social media platforms as needed
Produce original content for Student Involvement media outlets
Oversee the production and posting of all marketing and publicity for the Department

Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at Dominican at least part-time in a degree-seeking program
Must be eligible for US employment
Applicants will be expected to attend a training before the beginning of the year
