This includes trading of power and gas transactions in both long-term and short-term bilateral markets. In addition to the wholesale markets, TEP participates in the Western Energy Imbalance Market that allows market participants to find the lowest-cost energy to serve demand. The WEIM market allows for real-time visibility across neighboring grids, resulting in a balancing of supply and demand at lower costs.
