IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified summer intern to join the National Security + Technology (NS&T) team. This position will assist with various HR/Recruiting and Public Relations projects within the division.


  • Engage with the Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations on special projects, including internal communications, social media engagement, marketing and promotional activities, and marketing research

  • Engage and assist NS&T Recruiting and HR with new hire onboarding process to include initiating Costpoint requisitions

  • Engage former IAP employees to request referrals and gauge interest and availability in returning to program

  • Initiate the drug screens and background investigations for new employees

  • Assist with auditing and completing PLC Compliance Forms

  • Schedule interviews with recruiting candidates as needed during surge efforts

  • Work with HR, Recruiting and Communications to develop, refine, and implement a former employee outreach and connectivity social media platform

Job Summary immixGroup is seeking an MI Intern to join its public sector MI team. The role of the MI team at immixGroup is to understand what drives the procurement of enterprise COTS products within the government and leverage that knowledge to help software and hardware manufacturers shorten sales cycles. As an MI Intern you will report to and work in close collaboration with the MI Manager on a variety of projects. This includes primary and secondary research to analyze and identify enterprise information technology (IT) sales opportunities on behalf of leading software and hardware manufacturers and solution providers. The intern will support the development and delivery of major presentations, training sessions, tools, market overviews, and company profiles for internal and external audiences. This is an excellent opportunity for a technology-savvy and self-motivated professional to work closely with major players in the technology industry while expanding expertise and relationships. Essential Responsibilities * Supports efforts to provide immixGroup suppliers and partners with actionable intelligence on IT sales opportunities within the government market * Provide sales campaign support including contact list creation and validation, call script support, and other campaign consulting * Supports MI team with special projects performing data mining, analysis, and reporting to support supplier/partner initiatives * Utilizes primary and secondary research methods to obtain actionable and timely information * Leverages multiple resources for research purposes, including internal and external databases, budget documents, trade publications and other online sources to gather information Position Requirements * Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, or Equivalent with a graduation date no earlier than May/June 2020 * Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer (May or June through Mid-August) * 3.0 GPA or Higher * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines * Detail oriented mindset * An interest in the government as well the and the information technology products they purchase Highly Desirable Skills * Interest in or experience with data analytics, statistical analysis, and/or have an interest in data science with tools such as such as Alteryx, Qlik, Tableau * Knowledge of the enterprise IT market such as IT security, data management, network infrastructure, cloud, IoT, etc. * Ability to study and understand state, local, and educational government initiatives * Desire to build knowledge of the immixGroup organization, processes and customers * Problem solving skills that aid in identifying missing pieces of information * Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures * Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction * Experience working in a sales environment, helping turn seemingly worthless data into actionable insights to accelerate the sales cycle Arrow is an equal opportunity employer.
