The Entergy Nuclear Communications team is seeking a communications summer intern to assist in the development and implementation of communications programs for headquarters and across the fleet.. This role would be working across the nuclear communications department to assist in the execution of the fleet's and company's visibility strategy through internal, external and social channels.

Sample Tasks:

Write feature articles for internal and external use.

Develop and edit presentation for internal and external use

Develop contect for social media; create basic graphics

Edit copy; must understand Associated Press style

Assist with all hands meetings and other special events

Work in a team-oriented environment with those at headquarters and across the fleet and company.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum education required of the position

Pursing undergrad or master's degree in communications, public relations or related field.. GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Qualified candidates will be/have:

Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills

Self-motivated, team player, strong written, verbal & organizational skills

Excellent computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office tools

The ability to work independently and with others; works well under pressure and meets deadlines

Ideal candidate is an undergraduate (junior or senior) or graduate student in public relations, marketing, communications, digital communication for business development. Ideal candidates will be detail oriented, organized and creative and possess a professional work ethic and be enthusiastic to gain new knowledge.
