Student Intern - Facilities

Overview

This Facilities Engineering intern position will report to the Facilities Manager in Milford, MA. There are several projects currently going on for which assistance is required.

This position will start following the end of the school year, this would be a 40-hour per week position. The position will run through the duration of the summer break.

Pay rate & other benefits:

• $18.00 per hour or based on applicant qualifications
• 56 hours of PTO
• $200 boot allowance

Responsibilities

Projects (not limited to):

• Milton CAT currently utilizes a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Assist with data loading, reporting documents, & prioritizing work orders.

• Assist troubleshooting HVAC issues, utilizing the building management system (BMS) & hands-on experience with facility technicians.

• Assist in day-to-day operations of the Facilities Department.

• Assist in evaluating Milton CAT's annual energy consumption, and work towards conservation initiatives, alternate energy sources, and accountability.

• Assist in establishing "Best Practices" for our Corporate Facilities Program.

• Assist in developing FY 2024 Facilities Budget.

• Participate in managing capital projects.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be a full-time college student in a Facilities Engineering or related program.

• Applicant should be a motivated self-starter.

• Applicant must be able to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
