Job Summary

The person in this position works under general supervision to observe and control the behavior of students and non-students; to provide for the supervision and protection of students, personnel, property and equipment on a school campus. Primary responsibilities of the position are to:

  • Interpret transcripts of incoming students (e.g. cum folders, record card, withdraw grades from previous school, fines/fees from previous school, etc).

  • Inform administrators and/or counselors of possible student credit deficiencies and/or unusual placements for the purpose of ensuring student success.

  • Maintain a variety of files, documents and student records (e.g. mark reporting, grades, schedules, transcripts, etc).

  • Process requests from students, other districts, colleges/universities, military, and/or employment agencies (e.g. transcripts, job verification, diploma verifications, etc.).

  • Develop custom queries and generate computerized reports.

  • Coordinate and conduct student database activities such as system updates, access rights and dissemination of passwords

  • Assist students, parents and staff with access to and use of various student data system programs; and serve as point of contact for student, parent, and staff questions related to the student information system.

  • Respond to the inquiries of students, staff, parents, other educational institutions

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS - High School Diploma or GED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is appropriate. A representative way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: a minimum of two (2) years of job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility and experience with a computer based student information system.

The written test will be given Friday, April 26, 2024 at 9:00 am or 2:00 pm (picture ID required). Late arrivals will not be admitted for testing. No cell phones, no calculator.
