Opening starting January 22 to assist the School's Resource Center Coordinator, Business Manager, and/or Executive Assistant to the Dean, in a variety of areas. Duties include, but are not limited to: telephone, reception and screening, greeting visitors and resolving and/or referring inquiries, assisting faculty, staff and students with equipment, running errands, setting up new files, maintaining files, photocopying, assisting with cover in the School of Journalism's Dean's office, and other duties as assigned.
1.Two or more years of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
2.Able to commit to a set schedule and open to School's need for occasional extra hours
3.During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments)

2.Dependable, organized, detail oriented, demonstrates initiative and has a positive attitude
3.Must have a good work ethic and be self-driven to complete assigned tasks

The hours are between 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. This position will work between 10-20 hours a week.
