Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Unsolicited applications to this position will NOT be considered.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the Student Body President and Vice President in:
Cultivating a positive and consistent public image
Planning and facilitating open forums and other creative engagement events for student body
Leading advertising, marketing, and social media efforts
Promotion of Student Government events and news
Assist in increasing student involvement in Student Government advisory councils, and other branches of Student Government
Required Competencies
Basic understanding of software and applications related to marketing and graphic development
Knowledge in developing and maintaining effective social media presence
Commitment to transparency, accuracy, and professionalism in public relations efforts in-person and online
Understanding of professional communications and speaking for public audiences
Minimum Requirements
Successful completion of Criminal history background check
Enrolled in at least one credit for the employed academic semesters.
