Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Student Experience Specialist performs duties for scheduling and coordinating clinical & non-clinical rotations, job shadowing, healthcare exploration day and serving as a liaison between educational organizations and Marshall Medical Center, preceptors, and students. Maintains, oversees, and manages the implementation and administration of the Student Experience Programs and associated activities to support the achievement of organizational outcomes and goals. This position is responsible for the onboarding of all students, maintaining files and records; handling time-sensitive and confidential information; and other duties as assigned. This position provides support for the Recruitment Department when needed. The individual must exercise confidentially, good judgment, initiative, tact, and diplomacy in handling issues that reflect on the students, staff, and the organization.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure/Certification:
H.S. diploma or GED and/or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Knowledge:
Minimum of 2+ years working with a variety of student programs in a healthcare setting required with bachelor's degree or 6+ years equivalent experience without degree.
Experience with set up and attendance of career fairs and student interactions.
Knowledge of basic Medical Terminology, preferred.
Experience with on boarding and educational student programs.
Experience with scheduling and coordinating clinical & non-clinical rotations, job shadowing.
Skills:
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required.
Intermediate ability with Word and Excel software.
Alpha-numeric filing.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Ability to prioritize work effectively.
Basic office equipment familiarity required.
