POSITION: Student Employment - Resident Assistant

LOCATION: Devils Lake, ND

WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED: Must be eligible to work in the United States. There is no sponsorship for this position.

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: LRSC students only. This is a part-time, non-benefitted, working approximately 15-19 hours/week.

BACKGROUND CHECK: LRSC does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Resident Assistant (RA) facilitates the social, academic, and personal adjustment of students to the residence hall and LRSC. The RA develops a sense of community among residents as members of a floor, residents of a hall, and active participants in the residence life system.

The RA serves as a positive role model to residents and peer staff members. The RA enforces the rules and policies of Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services and LRSC. The RA acts as a liaison between residents and LRSC administration.

SALARY: $300 per month plus full single room housing waiver and partial dining waiver.
