Assist with a variety of communication tasks including the creation and development of a newsletter, social media content, collateral materials, and other communication-related projects as needed. The student worker will provide excellent customer service to current students, alumni, and campus partners within the College of Liberal Arts Administrative department.

Essential Functions

• Writing press releases

• Creating social media content

• Designing collateral materials

• Assist with day-to-day operations

• Provide assistance to staff during orientation programs (CWE & SOS)

• Attend scheduled training sessions

• Assists with creating and planning events

• Create marketing calendar

• Complete office duties as assigned

• Work 10-15 hours per week

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite experience

• Photoshop and InDesign

• Ability to multi-task

Minimum Qualifications

• Enrolled Auburn University student

• College of Liberal Arts major

• 3.0 cumulative AU GPA or higher

• Available to work weekly office hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of social media

• Knowledge of Adobe Suite

Pay Rate $9.00/hour Work Hours 10-15 City position is located in: Auburn State position is located: Alabama
