ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Acquire and coordinate beneficial training content for LU Serve from various sources.
Network to foster better relationships between LU Serve and all LU departments whether staff or faculty for student development projects.
Network and communicate effectively with respective internal and external contacts in relation to LU Serve's strategic goals and partnerships.
Assists the Director and Associate Director to design, develop, and execute all appropriate trainings in order to develop faculty leaders and students for service-engagement; this includes LU Serve special projects such as GFW and Serve Lynchburg.
Contribute to any requested content for other major LU Serve events.
Collaborate with LU Send in order to create and coordinate all needed trainings that will support effectively all student travel opportunities.
Work collaboratively with appropriate person(s) to understand and utilize Liberty University's travel and risk software platform, Terra Dotta, for effective compliance with Liberty University's travel policies for all promoted student-service engagement opportunities.
Contribute to the planning, coordinating, and execution of all LU Serve Now trips and trainings.
Work to create new training opportunities while ensuring a high-level of execution on those opportunities and provide integrity with all ongoing initiatives.
Creatively promote, engage, and expose faculty and students to student development and available training opportunities.
Promote active and broad participation by faculty, staff, and students in all areas of LU Serve's work.
Cross-train in all Experiential Education functions and initiatives, which includes, but is not limited to, CSER, CSER Course Pathing, and Service Learning.
Work effectively as a coordinator and team member of LU Serve, embracing and fostering the mission and events of OSD and Liberty University.
REQUIRED & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience:

Master's degree
3 years+ experience in a business or non-profit organization
Experience traveling internationally

Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop in order to conduct business.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Environment
The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lighted and the noise level is moderate.
Driving Requirements
Use of one's personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) is required for travel in the performance of the essential functions of this position. Occasionally required to travel to local and campus locations. Proof of a valid Virginia driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
