Student Conduct Officer

Description of Duties

SUNY Canton is seeking a Student Conduct Officer beginning immediately.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in administration of the judicial process on campus including meeting with students to address violations of the Student Code of Conduct. Adjudicating at and advising during the judicial hearing board processes.

• This position may have some evening and weekend hours as well as required regular emergency contact duties.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Successful applicants will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, excellent communication skills and the desire to take on challenging work in a fun, engaging and ever-changing environment.

Preferred:

• Master's degree and/or three to five years of professional student affairs/conduct experience.

Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.
