Entry level position with a recent program certification who will apply appropriate diagnostic and procedure codes (ICD-10 & CPT) to outpatient and inpatient accounts for data retrieval, analysis and claims processing.

  • High School education or equivalent required. Satisfactory completion of anatomy & physiology and medical terminology. Prefer recent graduate of a coding program and or recently completed CPC-H, CCA or RHIT. ? Demonstrates knowledge of ICD-CM, MS-DRG and CPT coding principles and guidelines. ? Knowledge of federal, state and payor specific regulations and compliance standards relating to documentation, coding and billing. ? Individual must be self-confident and able to function independently in a high-stress environment subject to frequent interruptions. ? Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Under the supervision of a Registered Technologist, performs duties involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for detecting pathology. * High school graduate or equivalent required and must be a student currently enrolled in a School of Radiologic Technology.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must possess decision making skills.
