Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and motivated part-time student employee to join our team. This position is ideal for a student currently enrolled in a graphics design, video production, or similar major degree program. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours per week, assisting in website development, content creation, and video production to support our team's goals and initiatives.

This position is time-limited to 07/01/2024 - 09/30/2024

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the website, ensuring a user-friendly experience and adherence to project timelines.

  • Create and design digital and print materials, maintaining brand consistency and high-quality standards.

  • Support video production projects, including filming, editing, and post-production tasks.

  • Aid in the organization and management of multimedia archives.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and concepts for projects.

Expected Salary:

$15 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

  • This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.

  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

  • Experience with video editing software.

  • Basic knowledge of website development tools and platforms (e.g., WordPress).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in website development or a similar role.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas effectively.

  • Currently enrolled in a graphics design, video production, or related major degree program.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong creativity.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
