Skysong Innovations is ASU's exclusive technology transfer and intellectual property management company responsible for the rapid and wide dissemination of ASU's discoveries and inventions into the marketplace for the public good.

The Student Assistant

• Marketing Analyst will assist Skysong Innovations' (SI) Business Development team with collecting and managing marketing-related data in SI's database. This will include developing marketing campaigns by searching for and collecting data related to companies and contacts across industries. The role will also be responsible for entering data into the database and attaching documentation and emails to specific records in the database, with attention to detail being vital.

The position will require approximately 20 hours per week, with additional availability during the non-school year.

What you'll do:

• Gathers, analyzes, and interprets marketing data

• Tracks email campaign metrics

• Conducts competitive research and analyzes benchmarking data

• Measures the performance marketing campaigns

• Scans through information to identify pertinent information

• Enters and updates information into relevant databases

• Informs relevant parties regarding errors encountered

• Other duties as assigned

What you'll need:

• Possess a willingness to learn

• Collaborative style, combined with the ability and desire to work in a team-based environment

• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and responsibility regarding information related to Enterprise Partners, its subsidiaries and University business and confidential prospect information

• Strong and collegial interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Problem solver who can take initiative and set priorities while being flexible

• Ability to represent the institution well

• An advocate's belief in the vision of ASU as the New American University

• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing assigned duties

• Excellent planning, highly organized and able to handle multiple projects

• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel and Outlook)

• Capable of managing several activities at the same time

Relevant qualifications:

• An Arizona State University undergraduate or graduate student. Any ASU student with the willingness to learn is encouraged to apply.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• An Arizona State University undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing or similar field
