The Student Assistant assists the Cardinal Coach-Student Retention Manager in providing outreach and support to student in the College of Arts and Sciences at Lamar University.

• Assist students with questions and referrals to campus resources

• Assist with performing outreach to students

• Assist with student success research

• Perform other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Must be a registered student at Lamar University. Majoring in a degree within the College of Arts and Sciences is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Must respect confidentiality where necessary.

• Attention to detail.

• Dependable and professional.

• Ability to interact and serve individuals from diverse cultural communities and backgrounds.
